Chamber

• • Competes in UIL as a Varsity Ensemble

  • Represents SRHS in community events

  • Numerous outside commitments and weekly rehearsals are required for this ensemble

Symphony

• • Competes in UIL as a Jr. Varsity Ensemble

  • Occasional outside commitments and weekly rehearsals are required for this ensemble

Philharmonic 

• • Competes in UIL as a Sub-Non-Varsity Ensemble

Concert Orchestra

• • Performs in several concerts throughout the year

Columbia Orchestra

• • Our newest members of the Sam Rayburn family are placed in this ensemble to build skills that enable them to be successful and fulfill Fine Arts Credits for graduation

Sam Rayburn Symphony Orchestra (Full orchestra)

• • In partnership with the Sam Rayburn Texan Band, the Sam Rayburn Full Orchestra performs several times throughout the year. Rehearsals take place after school.

Texan Quartet

• • The Texan Quartet serves as a community outreach ensemble comprised of members of the Varsity ensemble.
